Back in the early aughts of Facebook, when the platform was still about making connections rather than fueling misinformation, influencers were crowned with just a few thousand likes.

Jeff Grant, then a Florida-based sales professional, was one of them. He had already popped up on the 2004 MTV miniseries “Big Man On Campus” and shot with Michael Anthony Downs, founder of All American Guys. On Facebook, he was a reigning king.

Beyond being a fixture on AAG, Jeff posed for prolific photographer Luis Rafael and graced the pages of several men’s workout magazines. He even landed the cover of the now-defunct MaleFitnessModels.NET, which boasted a then-massive 100,000 followers—a gigantic number in the pre-Instagram era.

These days, Jeff hasn’t left the spotlight entirely. He’s still active on Facebook and Instagram and has carved out a career as a successful entrepreneur.
